JERJO WELSH

We are located in southwest corner of Missouri. We really are not a big breeding facility. We have 1 to 3 foals a year. We also raise Norwich terriers and Austrailian Shepherds. We love showing and training our own, and as our children are grown, the ponies and dogs are now our passion. We got started in the Welsh because of some very dear friends Larry and Tracy Henderson. We started with a section B Flying Diamond Twist and Trot. We fell in love with the willing nature and people pleasing attitude. That was at my first show that I was introduced to the Welsh Cob and lost my heart. As they brought them in one by one and you watch they fly around the ring with that huge stride, feathers flying, and yet have a soft sweet eye. Yet you still have that warmblooded lovable pony nature that’s all it took I was in love with the cob. And I got my first cob from Tracy and Ruth Laufer Knjghtwynds Porthos. And the romance begins.

  The Welsh Cob excels all around equally suitable to ride and drive. They are natural jumpers, safe and very sure footed with the gentle disposition. The welsh breed wather you ride an A, B, C, or D you will never out grow a welsh.
