Based on my wonderful experience buying Otis, my Norwich terrier recently,I'd encourage anyone looking to add a pup (or horse) to their family to get in touch with Jerry and Jo. Never having had a Norwich previously, it meant a lot that they took time to discuss my situation and answer all my questions. I was equally impressed they didn't simply sell Otis,collect the money and forget about him. They've several times inquired to ask how he's doing and request updated pictures. Proves to me they really care about their animals. A big plus in my book.
Norwich terriers are small, but sturdy, spirited dogs requiring lots of love and attention and a little bit of patience. Like teddy bears with jet engines installed, but totally worth the effort. The first thing you notice is that everyone falls in love with them on sight followed by the inevitable, "I've never seen one of those. What kind of dog is that?"

Jo Steinbach has contacted me requesting reference information concerning the reputability of their puppies. I just recently purchased a pair of Norwich Terriers from the family. Jo and I visited extensively quite a few times about Norwichs and from the very first visit I had no doubt that I had found a great place to get my puppies.
She was honest, open, and I could tell had great quality. She has a wealth of knowledge in care, health care, and grooming. And socialization?.......whoa....... these kids are such sweethearts. They are very, very friendly, and you can tell they have been loved to death,just like family. You can definately tell she is a small enough breeder, and home all day to where she can give her animals the attention they need!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Jo!

I wanted to write you to express my sincere and everlasting thanks for providing us with such a beautiful, energetic, and happy Norwich Terrier puppy. We got Fionnuala, as we call her, from you at 3 months of age and we have had her for 6 months now and we love her!! She is a very happy puppy and never barks or growls. She is curious and funny-getting into everything. :-) She was perfectly crate-trained when we got her and she goes obediently into her crate each night when we say goodnight to her. She loves every single person she has ever met and, believe me we have a constant stream of children and young adults coming into our house since we have 4 children ages 14 to 21! She also loves every single dog or cat she has met in our neighborhood or puppy school. She reacts with glee to each new encounter. I know this is due to your superior knowledge of breeding and puppy socialization.

To this day, whenever we have a question about our puppy, from AKC registration questions to how to teach “come”, you have been there for us. Your email and phone communications have always been so helpful and friendly. You have always been available to us. Thank you for decorating the crate you sent Fionnuala in so beautifully for her plane trip to us out in California. The children were so excited to get their surprise Christmas gift! You didn’t have to do that, but you did.

I am looking forward to meeting you in person this summer when we take our cross-country road trip with the kids. Thank you again for everything! If you have anyone interested in getting a puppy from you, go ahead and tell them to contact me. I would be happy to talk with them!
